EveryDay People 365

  January 2014-Issue I

It’s that time of year again, yes the Holiday season; a time of giving, receiving and being THANKFUL. Although this is the season of being thankful, which we should all be every day.  There are many who dread this time of year because it reminds them of things that they don’t have, can’t do, or loved ones not here to enjoy the holidays.

What are you thankful for this year?  What can you do that will cause someone else to be thankful.  Challenge yourself to help someone homeless, serve at a shelter, donate to a worthy cause, or spend time with someone who is normally depressed during this time of year.  If these few ideas won’t work for you, think outside of the box and be creative in giving.  Get others involved like your children and/or family and friends.

My immediate act is donating to other causes.  C3 Car Club, Richmond Chapter is helping to feed families in the community.  If you are in the Richmond, VA area, EDP365’s Ms. Mel will be accepting donations for this worthy cause. You can donate through November 10, 2017.

You can contact her at 804-223-0157.

If you are not in the Richmond, VA area, get in contact with your local Churches and Social Service agencies.  Also reach out to family, friends, and coworkers, you never know who is in need.

Enjoy your THANKS- GIVING!
